The Montreal International Dragon Boat Race Festival was invited to compete in Shanghai. A special team was put together (Montreal Dragon Boat Team) to represent the city and the festival. Jimmy Chan were chosen to be part of this team.

As an ACTRA member, Jimmy has been featured in many big movies. One of his biggest roles was with Anthony Hopkins, Nicole Kidman, and Ed Harris. He has also performed stunt work in several productions.
Although Jimmy is not a promoter of ACTRA, he always encourages performers and aspiring actors/actresses to become ACTRA members.
