Saving Chinatown Documentary – Toronto Screening at CCIFF

A special film screening was held on October 16, 2021, in Toronto for the 6th edition of the Canada-China International Film Festival for Jimmy Chan’s latest documentary “Saving Chinatown – Rise of the Dragons”. The screening concluded with a Q&A session with Jimmy and his film crew to answer questions from the audience about their experiences filming the documentary during the pandemic and the challenges they faced.

The documentary has gained popularity since its premiere at the Scotiabank Cinema in Montreal on October 2. Word had spread around all communities, bringing to light all the issues explored in the documentary.

Next Screening: Jimmy’s documentary is set to screen again in Montreal on October 23rd, 2021.
